Botanisol Analytics and Scintillation Nanotechnologies – both founded to commercialize UArizona inventions – have been accepted into the 2021 Flinn Foundation Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program. Each will receive $30,000 in funding through a nonprofit partner, a customized learning plan, and connections with the state’s bioscience leaders in business, research, and policy.

The National Academy of Inventors (NAI) has named inventors and professors May Khanna and Meredith Hay of the University of Arizona as Senior Members in recognition of their innovative work that has given rise to real impact on the welfare of society. 

Startup GenetiRate has been acquired by biotechnology company IMV Technologies. GenetiRate was founded on a technology that measures the metabolic rate of aquatic animals, from fish to mollusks to crustaceans, to identify and sort out those that grow more quickly, making it useful for the aquaculture industry.

Auxilium Technologies has brought together multiple UArizona inventions that offer sustainable, energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions to improve the output of mines while reducing their environmental impact. 

Technology developed in the Eller College of Management processes several hundred thousand online customer interactions each day, reducing fraud and enhancing the customer experience.
