Caroline Walkinshaw is a biopharma commercial leader with more than 25 years of experience supporting portfolio, development, and commercialization decisions across the pharmaceutical industry. She previously served as VP of Strategic Insights & Analytics at Astellas, where she built and led a global organization supporting pipeline strategy, business development evaluation, launch planning, and marketed brands across multiple therapeutic areas.

Through her advisory practice, Exelle Bio, Caroline now works with emerging biotech companies and academic innovators to help translate complex scientific programs into commercially credible development strategies. Her work focuses on indication prioritization, market opportunity assessment, asset positioning, and strategic decision support for investment, partnership, and portfolio planning.
