Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan is a seasoned finance faculty member, consultant and M&A banker with more than 20 years of combined experience. In addition to his academic role, he also serves as an investment banker, providing capital and M&A advisory services to middle market firms within Industrial, Aerospace & Defense, Consumer and Business Services sectors with enterprise values ranging from $10 million to $500 million.

As a banker, Aamir Khan plays an integral role during the entire deal lifecycle, including sourcing, management, negotiation, transaction structuring, and execution. He works directly with founders and shareholders to navigate the complexities of the sale process (platform, carve-outs, equity recapitalization or add-on), positioning companies for strategic and private equity buyers and driving outcomes that maximize value.

His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Finance with expertise in corporate finance, business valuation, value creation and mergers & acquisitions.

His consulting engagements span government entities in Oman and the U.A.E., as well as multinational organizations such as Caterpillar, Dignity Health Global Education, and DP World.
