In 2009, the UA undertook the creation of an online service to help match students with scholarships. Today, that web-based technology – called Scholarship Universe – has been licensed to Phoenix company CampusLogic.

The UA has licensed a commodity price-risk management web application to Tucson startup Hedgesmart LLC. Roger Dahlgran, Ph.D., of the UA College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, created the system.
