UArizona ranks 28 among top 100 universities granted U.S. utility patents in 2021

Following on its most inventive year in UArizona history, the university has ranked No. 28 among worldwide universities for the number of U.S. patents granted, according to the National Academy of Inventors and the Intellectual Property Owners Association.

UArizona reports record number of inventions

Tech Launch Arizona, the University of Arizona's commercialization arm, recorded 303 novel inventions between July 1, 2021, and June 30 – the most invention disclosures registered for a single year in the university's history – up from 274 in the previous year.

UArizona inventors recognized at the National Academy of Inventors Annual Meeting
