University of Arizona Innovation Generated $1.6 Billion in Economic Output Over 5 Years

UArizona Invited to Participate in $1M Novartis Innovation Opportunity

The UArizona has been selected as one of over 50 world-class institutions participating in the Novartis Global Scholars Program (NGSP). The Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research NGSP is a competitive program designed for innovators from invited institutions to gain $1M over 3-years in funding for breakthrough science not covered by traditional grant support.

College of Engineering Celebrates Inventors with Awarded Patents

Twenty inventors were recognized for their hard work, creativity and courage at the first annual College of Engineering Patent Medallion Luncheon in early March. The engineers received medallions to commemorate their patented inventions — which ranged from a quantum-analogue computer to a cancer detection device to a technique to improve hypersonic flight.
