Doug has a successful background in technology commercialization. He has experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as initial public offerings (IPOs) on NASDAQ.
He expertise and experience include advanced system-level diagnostics and prognostic solutions for the aerospace and oil and gas industries, and hardware instrumentation for critical applications. At Honeywell he worked on flight control systems, and at Tektronix, he commercialized a library of signal processing routines.
His leadership experience includes serving as vice president at Analogy, Inc., a software-based design tools firm (now part of Synopsys), co-founder and CEO of OpMaxx (no part of LTX/Credence), and founder of Ridgetop Group, Inc., serving aerospace and industrial condition-based maintenance tools for NASA, NAVAIR, the Air Force and many commercial accounts.
Doug is the co-author of Prognostics Health Management (PHM), a Condition Based Approach published by Wiley Interscience, in addition to numerous papers.
He received his BSEE at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) San Luis Obispo, and his MBA at the University of Portland.
As a serial entrepreneur and investor in technology-based businesses, he specializes in the development of pricing models, go-to-market strategies, and raising capital for lab-to-market transitions.
