Nannon Roosa, PMP, CPA, FACMPE
Nannon, a seasoned Strategic Business Leader and Entrepreneur, brings extensive experience in navigating complex challenges and driving business growth, particularly in bioscience technologies. With a proven track record in innovation and entrepreneurship, she has successfully brought numerous ideas to market.
Previously, as President and Co-Founder of CATS Tonometer, Nannon led the organization to achieve FDA clearance for three ophthalmic medical devices, two of which are now in national distribution. Her expertise spans various areas including company formation, team building, product assessment, business development, marketing, regulatory compliance, and commercialization strategy.
Nannon is active in both Tucson and state-wide organizations. In Tucson, she is a member of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC) and the Bioindustry Organization of Southern Arizona (BIOSA). On a state-wide basis, Nannon is a member of the Flinn Foundation’s Bioscience Roadmap Steering Committee where she co-chairs the Risk Capital Team. She is also a member of AZBio and AZ Tech council. She volunteers in the Tucson community as a Commercialization Partner, University of Arizona Tech Launch Arizona, Tucson Make-A-Wish Ambassador Board, and former Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum Treasurer and Board Member.
Nannon is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Fellow, College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE). She earned a B.S. in Business Administration (Major – Accounting) from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) and a Masters in Tax from the University of Texas at San Antonio
