Mission
In an increasingly interconnected world, healthcare professionals have become more intertwined with industry, research, and entrepreneurship to improve healthcare outcomes. Although the world continues to grow more connected, resources continue to be inequitably distributed. This meeting will strive for purpose-driven innovation that furthers medical advancements while increasing access to healthcare resources. The University of Arizona is surrounded by many marginalized communities (immigrants, Native Americans, elderly, those in rural towns) who live in low resource environments. This makes the University of Arizona uniquely situated to become the leading institution in the United States to focus on lean innovation in healthcare that is socially conscious and designed for extreme affordability.
