Join Joanna Yang Yowler, PhD, Program Manager for Translational Biosciences and Entrepreneurship, of the Flinn Foundation, and Bruce Burgess, Director of Venture Development at Tech Launch Arizona, for a special virtual information session on August 27 at 3 p.m., designed specifically for University of Arizona faculty and researchers

Learn how to apply for up to $100,000 in seed funding through the Seed Grants to Promote Translational Research Program, which supports promising early-stage projects advancing toward real-world clinical impact.

In the most recent award cycle, seven U of A teams were selected—and this year, your project could be next.

During the session, you’ll learn:

  • Program goals and eligibility requirements
  • Key dates and tips for a successful application
  • Support offered beyond the funding
  • How the program aligns with Arizona’s long-term Bioscience Roadmap
  • Opportunities to meet 1:1 with Flinn staff during the application period

🔍Important Dates:

  • Application opens: September 3, 2025
  • Application deadline: October 31, 2025
  • Award notifications: March 2026
  • Funding: $100,000 for 18 months, with possible $100,000 extension
