As part of this mission, TLA is developing a set of clinics focused on technology commercialization, University policies and TLA services. Sleeper started as the embedded Licensing Manager for the College of Engineering within the Office of Technology Transfer on June 24, 2013. The Office of Technology Transfer helps to accomplish the broader University of Arizona mission by providing a variety of services to faculty that both protects intellectual property whilst sharing important knowledge and discoveries with the world through technology commercialization. Read more UA & City Announce New Commercialization Network Alliance July 8, 2013 The City of Tucson and the University of Arizona’s Tech Launch Arizona have formed a Commercialization Network Alliance to nurture technology based start-up companies in Tucson. A primary focus of the new Alliance is for the City and the University to collaborate on activities that identify, harness and include Tucson’s most entrepreneurial citizens in the development of start-up companies based upon technologies created by UA faculty and students.
