Tech Launch Arizona (TLA) is pleased to announce the continuation of its capacity building with key staff additions in the revitalization of technology commercialization at the University of Arizona. TLA is a growing organization with substantial responsibilities and authority to effectively commercialize UA technology.

BioAccel is challenging students, university faculty, entrepreneurs, scientists and other innovators to participate in the BioAccel Solutions Challenge to solve medical and health delivery problems in Arizona.

UA Distinguished Professor Dennis Ray will lead the effort of breeding guayule, a rubber-producing plant suited for arid environments, to achieve higher yields and reduced harvest cycle time. Tech Launch Arizona, a technology commercialization center at the UA, assisted with this partnership.

The University of Arizona on April 1 celebrated the grand opening of Tech Launch Arizona, a technology commercialization center established to help move University research innovations to market.
