Bob has been a key player and successful serial entrepreneur in the software and services industry for more than 45 years and remains the managing partner for DVI Equity Partners. As a serial entrepreneur, Bob has had six successful exits; most recently in October 2011, he facilitated the sale of his company, i2/COPLINK, to the Industry Solutions, Software Product Group of IBM, where he remained as the general manager for the Safer Planet and Smarter Cities brand until February 2017.

Bob is a distinguished alumnus of the Naval Post Graduate School’s Center for Homeland Defense and Security’s Executive Leadership Program in Monterey, California. He has also been honored as the 2001 Entrepreneur of Year in Washington, DC, was twice awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise Export and Enterprise Innovation, and has been a distinguished lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, and the University of Arizona Eller School of Management. He has also addressed the World Economic Forum on the use of technology for critical infrastructure protection, and the World Conference on International Telecommunications on the topics of defense, disinformation, and cyber warfare.  

Bob did his undergraduate studies at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire and is currently in the EMBA program at the Eller College.
