Opportunities in 5G: Applications, Users and Markets
If you have a mobile device, you’ve no doubt heard about the coming of the 5G network. But as this new technology comes online, what are the implications for current technologies? And what new opportunities will it bring for tomorrow’s technology entrepreneurs?
Join us for a discussion with Marwan Krunz, Ph.D., professor of electrical and computer engineering, and Kenneth VonBehren Endowed Professor of the Wireless Communications and Networking (WiCON) Lab and Director of the NSF Broadband Wireless Access & Applications Center at the UA. Also joining us will be Doug Stetson, CEO of Freefall Aerospace, a UA startup commercializing UA-invented satellite and 5G technologies.
Freefall has licensed one of Krunz’s inventions with the help of Tech Launch Arizona.
Bob Sleeper, Sr. Licensing Manager for the College of Engineering, will moderate our discussion.
Who should attend?
While this talk will be geared toward faculty, researchers, graduate students and staff, all are welcome.
