During the course of research, a UA team created a novel technology for chemical synthesis of glycolipids – a technology that would be beneficial to a number of industries. The team included Jeanne E. Pemberton, PhD, and Robin Polt, PhD, both with the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Raina Maier, PhD, of CALS, Department of Soil, Water and Evironmental Science, and researcher Cliff Coss, PhD.

Join us as we hear from Drs. Boxley and Maier about their experience identifying and defining their invention, and working with Tech Launch Arizona to commercialize it via their startup, Glycosurf.
