Paul (Mack) Consigny received a B.A. in Biology, an M.S. and Ph.D in Physiology, and an MBA with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. His past academic positions include a post-doctorate in the Cardiovascular Research Institute at UCSF, assistant professor of Radiology, Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and associate professor and Director of Physiologic Research in Radiology and Physiology at Thomas Jefferson University. His past industry positions include Scientific Advisor for drug-eluting stents and Senior Manager for Site Specific Therapies at Guidant Vascular Intervention and Senior Manager and Associate Volwiler Fellow in New Business Ventures/Innovation Incubator/New Technology Development at Abbott Vascular. Currently, Mack is Research Fellow at D3Sciences. His publications include 50+ peer-reviewed papers and book chapters and 25+ awarded patents. He has served as a peer reviewer for the journals Radiology, Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, and Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. He has also served as a member of the board of the Society of Interventional Radiology Foundation and Research Committee Chair of Society of Interventional Radiology. Paul is the recipient of Abbott Vascular Innovator of the Year Award and two Abbott Labs Presidential Awards.
